Finales(spoiler!)--Gossip Girl,Once Upon A Time,How I met your mother and The Secret Circle

I do watch quite a number of television shows via torrent downloads.Especially because our local tv station always tend to show all these series way late like a year or a few months after it was originally aired!So by downloading via torrent,I get to watch the shows just a day after it was aired in the States.Here are my views on some of the finale episodes and what will probably happen in the upcoming season.

Secret Circle(season 1)

When I watched the first episode of this show it reminded me of Charmed.Which had a lot of fans.The Secret Circle is about witches but with a much younger cast and a bit darker storyline as well.

It helps that they have a pretty good storyline and also a very good looking cast.In the finale it was revealed that Blackwell is in fact evil.Though I did wish Cassie would found out that he & Adam were not cursed as she was led to believe by her evil dad.

Diana found out that her stepdad is actually the one responsible for killing Cassie's mom which she didn't reveal to Cassie.So the circle is also not bonded anymore thanks to Blackwell, meaning that in the next season all of them can use their powers on their own instead of only together.

That will probably not be good for self-destructive Faye.I wonder about that guy who Diana is running with..is he really as genuine as it seems?Because from past experience everybody is not who they say they are!So Faye will end up with Jake?Adam still doesn't remember his feelings for Cassie thanks to the spell by Blackwell.

The quite scary part for me would be about the four other Balcoin children(Blackwell's spawn) who will be searching for Diana & Cassie since all of them are pure blood(dark magic blood).In the finale they showed only the backs of those 4 other Balcoin's.So I hope season 2 will be more exciting and I'm sure more scary than the first season. UPDATE:I just found out that The Secret Circle has been cancelled by The CW..:( So there won't be a second season..

Gossip Girl(season 5)

The finale of this season of Gossip Girl can be summed up in a few things:

1)Bart Bass is back from the 'dead'.And he is as evil as ever.Even after all the grief that Chuck went through and building back the family business,he still doesn't feel Chuck is capable to take over and takes everything back from him!For shame!Plus,Bart took Lily from Rufus--poor Rufus.:(

2)Serena is an evil bitch!She slept with Dan(and filmed it!) to get back at Blair when in fact it was her fault that all of Blair's diariy entries are being shown on Gossip Girl because she freaking gave it to GG!I was so mad at Serena because what the hell is she doing with her life?When she became the Gossip Girl for awhile,she became mean and tried to bring down Lola,her own cousin.In the finale it showed that Serena is back to her drug days!tsk2

3)Poor Dan,because Blair realizes that she didn't love him.So he'll be writing a new book with the help of--Georgina???What???Hell hath no fury like a man scorned now?haha

4)Blair and Chuck...ahh the star crossed lovers.Will they finally get it together after everything that has happened between them?It's like they can never catch a break!Chuck was all about to win Blair back from Dan during the finale.But he stop when Bart said he was weak for putting love above everything, when Bart was the one who gave Chuck back the ring he wanted to propose Blair with!Confused?So am I!

But Blair who was at first hurt by what Chuck told her,rise up to the occasion,went to Paris with her mother because she's handing the business over to her.And right when we thought Chuck & Blair will never get it together,they showed us a tiny bit of hope when Blair went to find Chuck in Paris & told him something like, he's been fighting for her all this time so now it's her turn and she will never leave him.AWWWWWW.Now get married already you two!

How I met your mother(season 7)



It is season 7 and we still don't know who the freaking mother is!*sigh* I've been loyal to this series since day one but sometimes it is tiring.Especially when my boyfriend keeps making fun of this show because even when right at the end of the finale,it was revealed that Barney will eventually marry Robin,he was skeptical.I don't blame him because this series have fooled us so many times!Marshall & Lily got a son and they named him Marvin Waitforit(yes!thanks to Barney!) Eriksen.hahaha

Barney propose to Quinn(though we know that won't end in a fairytale) in a very elaborate magical way.hahaha.You have got to see that scene!I hope that Barney & Robin do get married so atleast that part will be over and we can all concentrate on who the mother is..And it is not Victoria(his ex from the first season?) people!

Once upon a time(season 1)


How can you not love this series which is full of fairytale creatures?Snow white,prince charming,pinocchio, gepetto,evil queen, Rumpelstiltskin,red riding hood and many more!Finally in the finale(pun no intended!),Emma believes that all the people in Storybrooke are in fact real fairytale characters.Only it took Henry almost dying to make her believe that!

I'm glad Rumpelstiltskin found his love again which is Belle(yes from the Beauty & the Beast).But why did he had to bring magic back again to present time?Now although everyone have regain their memories,there's magic & the evil queen will definitely uses it.How can everybody bring her down?I also wonder where is Rumpelstiltskin son's Bae?Didn't he went to another world back when they lived in ancient times?Hurm..

I hope Pinocchio is alive again.Wouldn't it be weird for Snow White & Prince Charming to find Emma & be like wow our daughter is just a few years younger than us!haha.I hope season 2 will be even greater since everybody remembers and they'll have magic as well.ayeyayay!Storybrooke will never be the same!

Trust:an unexpectedly scary good movie&a must watch.

All around the world and even in our own country we saw in the news about cases regarding little girls being raped and about pedophiles.There haven't truly been a movie that have told about this kind of story in a raw way.It is also sad that society usually blame the rape victims for what had happened to them.But do we really know how certain cases happened and how it affects the family and the victim itself?

The director of this movie is David Schwimmer(remember Ross from Friends?) who is an active director of the Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica for over 14 years now and he said that this movie was inspired from bits and piece of stories told to him by some of the victims there.

He also mentioned in a video interview that the father in the movie,Will,was based about the experience of a father of a real rape victim who was affected by what had happened over his daughter,which he told to David during a fund raiser.

This movie was unexpectedly scary because we could see how the pedophile made the victim,Annie(played by Liana Liberato) in this story to believe that he was in love with her.And after it had happened we could see that Annie was in denial over what had happened to her as she still believe that Charlie(the pedophile) was in love with her.

The effect of what happened to Annie affected her family and their relationship.Especially to her father,Will(a fantastic performance by Clive Owen)who felt very emotionally affected by it.I won't spoil the movie further for all of you as I believe this movie is a must watch.This movie will affect you emotionally.

You will be angry,frustrated and sad.It is a must watch because I believe that teen girls are easily manipulated by guys who told them things that they want to hear which in turn makes them do anything for them.Parents and teenagers must watch this.Spread this movie around.Below is the trailer of the movie.

Pretty Things--my ASOS purchases & others!

Enough on the food posts!Haha So I'm going to show you guys some of my pretty things.I am easily attracted to pretty material things like shoes,clothes,bags and jewelry and makeups!I shop anywhere and everywhere but I do shop online as well especially overseas websites because sometimes they have prettier things that we don't have here.

There are only two overseas websites whereby I purchase my clothes/shoes/bags/ accessories from.One is Asos.com & the other one is Endless.com.

Asos is a UK-based online shopping site and they have a great selection of clothes,bags and jewelry.The exchange rate of course is a bit high compared to our ringgit but they always have items on sale from even as low as 1 pound.

Below are some of my purchases from Asos from last month and this month!:)
Strawberry shirt!
I love this strawberry shirt and had to have it when I saw it.Plus I rarely wear shirts but I know I will definitely wear this one.It is so cheery and pretty.I have worn it twice already because it is so comfy.:)
Purple cambridge satchel

I have been dying to get this bag ever since I saw it online but it wasn't on ASOS.I saw it on their own website HERE.But the shipping cost is quite high so I didn't get one for myself.Until I saw this perfect purple one on Asos(free shipping!)I just had to get it because it is in my favorite color!

I have worn this bag everyday and it is worth every penny.It is definitely the most expensive bag I have ever bought.

This oversize cardigan is perfect for when I go to watch movies with the boyfriend at the cinema as I get cold easily.I love the color combo!

I was immediately attracted to the color of the necklace above.The earrings was a no brainer since it was only 4 pounds!I have been searching for the perfect feather earrings and this one is sparkly and also I love the color combo!:)

 I love this jewellery hook and bought it as now I can arrange all of my necklaces without all of them being tangled!:)
New watch!
I have been searching for a new watch ever since my lovely sapphire watch was gone no thanks to the mugger who mugged me back on 31st of December last year. :( Finally I saw this pretty and inexpensive one from River Island on Asos.I love it!Though it is quite big for my wrist.Look at the picture below:hahaha

Pretty neckline!


Hard to find a pretty orange dress!
I love wearing dresses!I wear a dress everyday and I rarely wear shirts as I usually wear them for sleeping.haha.Both dresses above are so pretty!The black one has a to die for back(which you can't see here) & also the beaded neckline.
Sparkly!
The orange dress caught my eye because of the beading in the middle and the sparkly fabric.Plus I don't have a dress in this shade yet and now I do.I love the fact that my entire wardrobe is filled to the brim with color!

I love the design on this tank which made it look so cuteeeee!!Love wearing it with a gray cardigan and long necklace with jeans.:)


 Beauty stuffs
Various makeup products:Dior,Sephora,Bare Minerals,Maybelline,Mac&Benefit!
Although I don't wear much makeup,I own quite a lot of them.I love trying new products.My everyday look is basically liptint,mascara & eyeliner.I think it is important to look fresh and presentable.It's okay girls to wear a little bit of color and not look like death!haha.The picture above was when I strewn some of my makeup on the bed as I was getting ready for a cousin's wedding.
My various lip products
I buy makeup everywhere from drugstores like Watsons or Guardian to department stores like Parkson and also Sephora--which is like beauty heaven to me!:)) I prefer wearing lipstain & balm than lipstick.I have a few lipgloss but I rarely wear them.

The two black tubes above isn't lipstick but they're actually Lip Ice watercolor.The deep red tube is Fresh Sugar lipstain/balm.The lightpink tube is Dior Lipglow which is so moisturizing and give a hint of color.I love Smith's as well.Previously I wore their Rosebud lipbalm & now I switch to Strawberry just to try.In the long tubes are Mac,Maybelline & The Bodyshop lipgloss & also Sephora cream lipstain.

 My new fave lipstain is by Rimmel named 1000 kisses.They have a lipstain with a marker-like applicator on one end and on the other end is a balm.So it makes it looks smooth.

I love mascara!It brings out your eyes and eyes are the windows of the soul after all.Previously I would buy Maybelline mascara as they are great but one day a friend told me I should try Diorshow mascara.So I tried one & was amaze with the results!Have been wearing it for a few months now and I love it!

I am about to finish reading The Hunger Games trilogy and will probably blog about that and also of some other books I have been reading lately.Haven't done a book review post in a longggg time.:)

Dates and eats

I go on dates with the boyfriend almost everyday or every other day.haha But we usually spend it hanging out watching movies at home though we do go out once a week.Here are some of the pics of eats from our dates.:)

Had lunch with the boyfriend at Manhattan Fish Market because he was craving for Fish and Chips but he was too lazy to drove all the way to OU(he hates traffic) so we went to Subang Parade instead and watched Battleship after lunch.I ordered the grilled platter because I love the grill prawns.Boyfriend ordered fish and chips and also country fried mushrooms & mussels for appetizers.

I haven't had the country fried mushrooms in a very long time & was surprise to see that they change it up and the dip is sooooo damn good!Afterwards we watched Battleship which I love because it was full of action.I was a bit skeptical towards the boyf at the start of the movie because I was like how are they gonna do a movie based on a game?

It is not a movie to be taken seriously of course as it is purely an action movie.But I love that they incorporate a disabled actor and also senior citizens actors who played an important part in the movie.Rihanna didn't do a bad job either!
Afterwards boyfriend went to buy a new ping pong paddle as it is his weekly 'boy's' night out thing..playing ping pong!He bought this paddle that was expensive but then I was like..I spend a lot on shoes,clothes & etc..hahaha.So he should spend it on himself as well.:)

We had a light dinner at Sushi King and then went home where he made me this sundae below!Bulla Choc Chip ice cream with Hershey's chocolate cracked sauce & crushed oatmeal choc chip cookies(I baked these)!

My parents have ate at Famous Thai before but I never did so one day when I didn't know what to eat,I asked the boyfriend to go there with me.I love their pineapple fried rice,tomyam & durian cendol.BUT don't order their butter prawns which are overprice and not good.Go to Homst where their butter prawns are the best!

Me and the boyfriend made fish and chips for dinner one night and we watched the movie Drive.I have to say that Ryan Gosling was very different in the movie!It was a very very violent movie!

I was sick for like 5 days due to serious gastroenteritis.A severe form of gastric.haha.Had to be taken blood and then experience vomitting & diarrhea for a few days which was not fun!After I felt a bit better,boyfriend picked me up to have dinner at Fullhouse because I love their aglio olio & salmon teriyaki.

Went to Ikea,Ikano,The Curve & OU in one day because boyfriend had to buy his room stuffs at Ikea.Before that we had early dinner at Ikano or was it IPC for some sushi king.Went grocery shopping at Tesco Damansara for some snacks for our midnite movie of The Avengers the night it came out!And then zipped to The Curve to buy boyfriend's dad's birthday gift.
