To be honest, I haven’t had a proper facial in quite some time. All the facials that I’ve had throughout my life has been at spas and not at a proper skin clinic. So, I was ecstatic when Revival Clinic invited me over to try one of their facial treatment last week.

Having a clear complexion is something that I strive for but I still get some acne from time to time..even at the age of 29! I was hoping that Revival Clinic would help me out with my current skin condition (pigmentation, redness and acne).

I went to the outlet located at Kota Kemuning which was only 15 minutes from my house. When I arrived there, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and then there was only a short form that I had to fill up.

Anyway, the doctor assessed my complexion, because he will need to choose which was the right facial treatment for my skin condition.

I like how he was very honest about what works for my skin. He told me that for acne, the best remedy is taking medicine. But of course there will be some side effect depending on your body..i.e: dry patches etc. He then said that because I have a few pimples, he recommended the Silk Peel treatment as it’s gentle and non-evasive for my skin.

I have combination skin and it’s a bit sensitive as well. The Silk Peel treatment was the right one as it’s a facial that can be done every week and doesn’t leave your skin looking red at all. Compare to say, microdermabrasion, which is harsh on the skin, Silk Peel can be done on even the most sensitive skin type.

Dr Khoo saw that I have one big pimple on my forehead that he said he can jab it..I was like..alright!

I was whisked away to the treatment room. They started by cleansing my face and then they started with the Silk Peel treatment. It felt like a tiny vacuum was hovering my face. Haha. I didn’t feel any pain at all but I can feel that my face was being “cleaned”.

They did half of my face first to show me the result and I was so surprised!! My skin looks so much brighter. After the Silk Peel, Dr Khoo came and jab my two pimples ( I swear to god that they shrink and disappear the next day! Amazing!). They then use an oxygen treatment on my face which was sooo awesome and refreshing. The last step was putting on a face mask. Before I left, they applied moisturizer and sunscreen on my face.

Overall, I can honestly say that it was THE BEST FACIAL I’ve had and I love it as it didn’t leave my face looking red from extraction as there wasn’t any! My face looks so much brighter, feel so smooth and clean. I highly recommend those out there who wants to get a better-looking skin. It’s a worthy investment and rest assured that you are in good hands with Dr Jeff Khoo and his staffs.
