2 years&1 day--the yin to my yang.

Yesterday,two years ago was the day that a guy named Razin Yuzer asked me to be his girlfriend after our second date and about two months of getting to know each other.He also told me he loved me that night.I remember the place as well.I like the fact that he was being a gentleman and man up,asking me to be his girlfriend which guys rarely do nowadays.

It took me 23 years to finally meet him though we were in the same high school for a year(his house was less than 5 mins from my childhood home),his cousin was my classmate back when I was 12 years old and his friends are also the friends of my ex.I like the fact that he said,if we didn't meet back in 2010,we would have met somehow.

We spend Saturday in Melaka although our anniversary was on Sunday because I knew traffic would be bad.Went to a wedding first in Merlimau and made our way to Melaka on Saturday morning and came back to Shah Alam at night.





Although it has been two years that we've been together,to me,time flies so fast.I've never been happier with a guy.He's amazing and he makes me feel amazing.Like the title of this post,he's the yin to my yang.I'm someone who panics easily,hates change,quite morbid and he calms me down and balance it out.I also have a temper at times and he's very very patient with me.

He's very intelligent and we never run out of topics to talk about and I learn a lot from him about many things.He's very unbiased about a lot of things which is good because he keep things in perspective.I could be angry about something or someone and he'll give me his view on it which makes perfect sense.

He's very spontaneous while I'm the planner and more neurotic in this relationship.I have to plan things and I don't really like throwing caution to the wind.But I love it when he takes me by surprise and does spontaneous stuffs.He's the only person that I can be very 'manja' with and won't be embarrased to do so.:)

He gives some of the best advices I've had although sometimes my stubbornness makes me refuse to accept it at first. We have our share of fights in the span of two years but they are far and few and we always know how to bounce back from it.We have a template/strategy/rule that we've told and promised to each other when we're angry or in a fight.Stop talking.hahaha.

Because when you talk when you're angry, you tend to say hurtful and ludicrous things that make things even worse.And this has been always how I deal with fights and in time Razin has managed to make me take an hour or two to calm myself down and then we'll be fine.

Words can't describe how much I love him, how much I cherish and appreciate him and how much I can't wait to grow old together.I want to give you beautiful children, be the wife who makes you breakfast every morning and dinner as well(don't know about lunch cos I'll be working haha)and give you..(as cheesy as it sounds),all the love in the world.

1.Dia Frampton
I heard her song a few weeks ago on the radio and I thought that her voice sounded like an angel!I didn't know that she was coming to Malaysia and perform at The Bee..:( One of my favorite songs is The Broken One.



2.Bunheads


I'm a hugeeeee fan of Gilmore Girls.I can watch the episodes over and over again and have done so since I was 15 years old(when it first came out & I'm 26 years old now haha).My boyfriend got the entire seven seasons of Gilmore Girls and I was estatic.Now,the creators of Gilmore Girls came out with Bunheads!

Although the storyline is different,the feel of the series is similar.Plus,a lot of past Gilmore Girls characters actually came on the show as guest actors and one of the main character of Bunheads is Emily,Lorelai's mother in Gilmore Girls!I've been watching the show since last year and now the second part of the season has continued.It is still in its first season so you guys out there still have time to catch up with the past episodes.

3.Vanderpump Rules

I'm guilty of being a fan of the Real Housewives series..specifically the 3 series that I watch are--Beverly Hills,New York City and New Jersey.I just love it because it's crazy real drama at its finest.hahaha.Now one of the housewives of Beverly Hills,Lisa Vanderpump has her own side show called Vanderpump Rules,about the waiters and waitress of SUR,her restaurant.She and her husband actually have 26 restaurants all over USA.

So far two episodes has come out and it's pretty entertaining.Maybe slightly less dramatic than Real Housewives but nonetheless,it's a relief to see how far worse of a girlfriend Stassi is than a lot of girls I know or even myself.She's a crazy control freak and terribly insecure for someone so pretty.Also,all of the cast in it have one time or another,been in a relationship with each other.

4.Loafers/flats
I used to be so into high heels..but now not anymore..I have quite a number of flats nowadays and my heels/wedges have been collecting dust in my shoe closet.I save the heels for special occasions.My current fave is my H&M black studded loafers and my nude Cotton On loafers.They make moving around from one place to another much faster!

5.Online magazine subscription



















I love fashion/beauty magazines and food magazines as well.But sorry,not our own magazines.Because the quality of editorial/content sucks..except for GLAM and Harpers Bazaar(I hate Cleo!Sorry hahaha).I've been buying Instyle US since I was 15 years old until now.So it has been 11 years that I've read the magazine.

The boyfriend is a fan of buying apps through the Apple store.Ironically,he Jailbreak both of my Apple devices but now since installous is gone,he buys everything.So he was the one who told me to subscripe to online magazines via Newsstand on the iPad because it is cheaper than buying them in Malaysia.Currently I'm subscribing to Seventeen US,Martha Stewart Living,Allure and Everyday Food.

It's much cheaper because per annum cost me around rm36 for each compared to Malaysia prices for these magazines run from rm20 per ISSUE!Plus,there's the interactive layout and videos and it also saves paper haha I get to carry all of my magazines through my iPad,anywhere.Sad that there's no Instyle US magazine available for Malaysia's app store though.:(


6.Bargain finds!

I love a good bargain!Bought a few stuffs far cheaper than the real retail price thanks to comparison shopping and also for the promo during Boxing day.:) I got a dress and a top for less than rm60--for both!And many others.

7.Pecel Lele Lela

The boyfriend and I love trying out different places but he's more skeptical in terms of whether the food will taste good or not eventhough he has a far more adventurous tastebuds than mine. We've tried more than 5 different indonesian penyet food restaurants that served lele(catfish)/ayam(chicken) penyet and we have 2 favorites:Waroeng Penyet at The Curve and Ayam Penyet Ria at Section 9,Shah Alam.
Recently a new penyet restaurant opened in Section 13 Shah Alam called Pecel Lele Lela.I've heard from Razin's eldest sister that the food there is delicious.We went with her and her baby one night and recently we went there again.:) I love the lele sos padang.It is spicy and delicious!Ordered pekedil as well.Now Pecel Lele Lela is a fave of me &Razin.Btw,we've tried Wang Solo before and it wasn't for us.The sambal was too sweet,not spicy!

8.Bruno Mars "Unorthodox Jukebox"

It's rare to find an album that I like as a whole.There'll be a few hits and misses in it.But I have to say,Bruno Mars's latest album is stellar.I love all of the songs.I got it the day it was released thanks to the boyfriend,which was weeks ago and have been listening to it for nonstop.

9.My new sparkly white gold ring from the boyfriend!

Today is our 2 years anniversary and the boyfriend got me this sparkly white gold ring as a gift.He gave it to me on Thursday(public holiday haha) and I can't stop looking at how pretty it is.





10.Cosmobox

I've been lusting over Birch Box since last year (pic above taken from my Allure for iPad subscription) and wished that it'll be available here.So I was estatic when I found out about Cosmobox and decided to subscribe to a 3 months subscription.I received my first box a few days ago and was please with what I got.Can't wait for more to come!

Went on a short trip to Cameron with the family 2 days before end of 2012.We've been there so many times that I've lost count.I've been there with my friends twice as well.We went to 2 places which we've never been to..the Time Tunnel and Mushroom Far.I love the Time Tunnel because there were so many nostalgic things there from my parent's childhood and mine.

I love the apartment that we stayed at.Ever since I was little,whenever we go to Cameron,we'd stay at this four storey bungalow in Tanah Rata which belonged to my mum's friend.It was huge and had a beautiful garden.But as time goes by,it was dilapidated because there was no one to take care of it as her friend lives in Shah Alam.


But this time we stayed in an apartment in Greenhill which is in Tanah Rata and inside Heritage Hotel.The apartment was spacious and had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.There was 1 king size bed and 3 single beds.All single beds have another bed underneath it that can be pulled out.So in total there was enough beds for 8 people.

The sofa was a huge L shaped one as well.The kitchen was fully equipped and when I meant fully,as in a big fridge,woks,plates,jugs,even a steambot/steamer,cutting board,cutleries,plates/cups/mugs..everything!It is owned by a Muslim woman.I would love to go there again with my friends and stay there.Such a lovely place.

Had a new years eve barbecue with the boyfriend's family.Picture of Qarla,his niece,above,who had to eat rice crackers.haha.I made arrowroot chips which the boyfriend and his family tasted for the first time.Went to Tesco with Qeema(his lil sis) and I saw a bag of them selling for cheap.Bought them,slice thinly and soak in water,toss them & dry them & fry.Delicious.

First purchase of 2013

On 1st January 2013,went to watch Les Miserables with the boyfriend at Setia City Mall.Went to H&M after and bought a little something for ourselves.He got this jacket which cost rm149 and previously it was rm199.When we went a few days later,it was back to rm199.hahaha Bargain!I bought flats and a pair of earrings.

A little new year treat for myself

On 5th of January,I had lunch with the boyfriend and his family for his brother in law's birthday.It was at Seoul Garden in Setia City Mall.I've eaten there twice and both times it's with his family.I baked the birthday cake as per his sister's request.It was a Hokkaido sponge cake (his BIL have ordered from me previously) with half of buttercream frosting and half cream cheese frosting.

After lunch,we walked around the mall and went to a few shops..When we were at H&M,walking around when Razin's mum asked me & his brother's girlfriend Maisara,to try on some shoes and then she bought it for us!Though we resisted at first and then she insisted.hehe Everyone of Razin's siblings along with Maisara and I got things from H&M thanks to their mother.

Maisara&I was bored waiting for everyone to finish shopping that we tried on a few things and took pictures haha Aunty saw us wearing hats and she was like,take it lah.hehe.It was a steal at rm19.90 when the original price was 79!

Had lunch with Aimi at Berjaya Times Square. And did a little bit of a shopping spree. Bought some stuffs for myself and the boyfriend because a special day is coming soon!hehe.I haven't walked around Berjaya Times Square for a long time though I do go to Berjaya Uni from time to time for work purposes.It was great catching up because Aimi has been busy going on to so many places for holidays!

We ate at Sushi King and then after going from shops to shops,we stopped for a little snack.Had Shihlin's sweet potato plum fries and also milk teas from Share Tea(apparently it's Taipei's no.1!).I ordered the toffee milk tea which tasted really good.

Qarla,Razin's niece whom I see a few times in a week cos she's there at his family's house,gonna be 1 years old soon!I'm in charge for her smash cake and cupcakes for the guests..A bit nervous and excited as well.Qarla likes to open my makeup bag and take my makeup out one by one and looking at them..hahaha So cute.Look at her pictures below.

Oooh,I've been wanting this rechargeable external battery for a long time after I heard about it.The boyfriend bought it for me online in purple color.Although I have a car charger,this is perfect for long hours of shopping because my handphone have died a few times while I was in a mall,at events or even while on a holiday.
